Bio-Striker Plus is the best-selling product sold to our customers. It became the base product for paddy farming and most importantly, it is a biorational product. However, for the best effect, this product can be mixed with insecticides and fungicides including foliar fertilizers. Bio Striker Plus can be sprayed three times on paddy plants especially on HLT 20-25, 40-45 and 60-65 HLT HLT.

Bio-Striker Plus is produced by breeding the pseudomonas fluorescene bacteria into palm oil wastewater. Then, preservatives are added to the wastewater for the fermentation process. After that, the non-required microbes are killed and only necessary enzymes are recovered. Then, the product is enriched with important nutrients such as Calcium, Boron, Silicone, Cytosine and wood vinegar.

Among the most important functions of this product is making the plants more resistant to diseases such as leaves and stalks blasts, sheath blights and brown spots. In addition, the number of tillers will grow and the development of roots will increase compared to when this product isn’t used. This is proven by looking at testimonials from our users. Tillers are also more excellent with this product. Many saplings will grow well because paddy plants are not easily broken or die before the next stage of growth.

All Agribolics’ products are biorational. Why biorational? This is because our products are safe for use on crops, the environment and also safe for farmers. The figure above shows the best methods applicable for paddy fields. Soil problems, lack of seed germinations, diseases, pests, and others can be addressed with the useof Agribolics’ products. Below is a description of methods used by us:

SOIL TREATMENT

Firstly, the land must be treated using Silmaxz and Organic Wood Vinegar (OWV) or Silmaxz Pluz (a new product of OWV and Silmaxz mixture) before the second or last plow. However, before that, the pH level of the soil needs to be checked so that it’d be easy to ascertain how much product need to be used before spraying it to the ground. Silmaxz product contains a high content of dissolved silicone and is able to treat acidic soil. Dissolved silicone absorbed by the roots of plants can enhance resistance to diseases including dry or hot conditions.

STRAW DECOMPOSITION

This process is very important for farmers. Straws should be sprayed with paraquat, urea and water. This should be done 7-10 days before the straws are plowed into the ground. The ultimate aim is to keep the nutrients of decomposed straws in the soil and improving problematic soil structure. In addition, the silicone content in the rotting straws will be absorbed by the paddy plant onwards, therefore, the paddy stalks won’t fall and break easily. It should be noted that rice straws cannot be burned if you want to get good results again for the next season.

SEED SOWING / DISTRIBUTION

Before sowing the seeds, the seeds need to be soaked in the Bio-Seed liquid and 0.25L of water for 18 hours for full absorption. Then, the seeds must be evaporated for 24 hours before sowing (2 days before seeding). This evaporation process is vital for abundant seed’s root germination before sowing. After the evaporation process is completed, the seeds should be sown into the field.

PROPAGATION AND PANICLE STAGE

In the early propagation stage, the plants should be sprayed with the Bio-striker Plus and the Bio-GS3. During the spraying, insecticides and fungicides can be added for maximum effect (20 days after sowing). At the panicle stage too, plants should be sprayed with the Bio-Striker Plus and the Bio-GS3 40 days after sowing. The aim of the Bio-Striker and the Bio-GS3 spraying is to increase the proliferation of excellent tillers and generous stems. It is also to produce more effective tillers, non-easily perishable and resistant to diseases and insects. The Bio-GS3 can control snails, mice, monkeys and insects.

BUDDING STAGE

One week before the budding stage, the Bio-Strikers Plus and the Bio-GS3 should be sprayed to further promote the growth of plants and stems. This is particularly important for better production of paddy. Both products can be mixed with insecticides and fungicides and spraying must be done 60 days after sowing.

FILLING STAGE

The filling stage is the stage that places the most importance on care and monitoring. You must do both the Full Up and the Bio-GS3 sprayings as these products help plants to produce more grains and to prevent rodent infestation. Insecticides and fungicides can be added if necessary. It may be sprayed 80 days after seeding or about two weeks before harvesting. Full Up provides quick impact on plants and trees. Many users have given positive feedbacks on this product.

Field tests at the University Putra Malaysia demonstrated the abilities of the Bacillus thuringiensis and the Bio-striker combination to control three types of pests, namely: Spodoptera litura, Plutella xylostella, and Hellula undalis in the cabbage plot. This treatment showed more effectiveness compared to the treatment by chemical pesticides cypermethrin or by Bacillus thuringiensis only, giving the advantage to any treatment without chemical pesticides that helps keep farms’ friends control the pest population naturally.

Tests performed at MARDI’s paddy field in Bertam, Penang showed the product’s ability to reduce symptoms of rice blast disease while tests in the lab showed the ability of the product to enhance the growth of rice seedlings. Farmers at paddy fields and outside have been able to reap benefits from using Agribolics’ products while also benefiting from more effective techniques and technologies for cultivation. The practice of using biorational products combined with this cultivation technology can increase farmers’ revenue while reducing adverse effects on the environment and farmers’ health.

Agribolics Technology Ptd Ltd have sought to transfer the biotechnology from the United States of America to Malaysia through the Brain Gain Program under the supervision of Malaysia Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) in 2010. Dr. Mohd Amir Fursan Abdullah, the one leading the transfer, have improved it by adapting the use of oil palm wastewater as the raw material production (patents have been applied for). This simultaneously makes this technology capable of creating sustainable products, safe for the environment by reducing the use of toxic chemicals in agriculture and give higher value to one of the most contaminated agricultural wastes in Malaysia. Since our products do not contain toxic chemicals, the Pesticide Control Board have exempted our products from being registered.

Biological products that have been developed from this high-technology are based on a type of bacteria that is beneficial for plants named the Pseudomonas fluorescens (Pf). This bacteria creates a group of substances with antibiotic properties such as the pyrrolnitrin, the 2,4-diacetylphloroglucinol and other beneficial metabolite substances during the fermentation process. These active substances are capable in resisting soil-originated diseases for plants such as paddy, cotton, cucumber, nuts and corn. From our research, it is found that our products have the ability to resist the Ganoderma boninense which is a disease agent that causes decay on oil palm’s tree trunk.

Our products have been found to increase the effectiveness of the Bacillus thuringiensis biopesticide to control pests. Plants that have been treated with our products show the ability to resist diseases due to the increase of immunity resulted by our products’ ability to induce systemic resistance in plants.
